About Bostadsbolagskollen

Bostadsbolagskollen collects listed residential property companies’ own reported figures and makes them comparable: the same metrics, units and periods for every company. Each figure includes the company’s own terminology, the report it comes from and a link to the original. Basic data and comparisons are free and open. Our work is described on the methodology page.

Bostadsbolagskollen is a data product provided by Lex Regta AB on behalf of Hyresbostäderna Media i Stockholm AB. It is an independent product with its own content: key figures, comparisons and analyses are based on the companies' own reports and produced separately from the newspaper's editorial staff. Lex Regta AB is responsible for the company data. The responsible publisher is Kalle Dixelius.

Lex Regta AB, which operates the platform, is half-owned by Einar Janson Invest AB, which is also the largest shareholder in Titania. Titania's metrics are read, checked and corrected in the same way as those of all other companies, through the same automatic checks and the same public correction process. The editor-in-chief owns no shares in monitored companies. Guest writers disclose any holdings alongside their text. Bostadsbolagskollen gives no investment recommendations and receives no compensation from monitored companies for analyses or placement in comparisons; paid content is always labelled and kept separate from the data. Company pages list the research firms covering a share, according to the companies’ own lists. In some cases, the analyst’s name is also shown. This is professional information published by the companies on their investor websites and reproduced only in that context, never with contact details or private information. Names are removed on request; contact [email protected] and only the firm will remain.

A partnership allows a company or organisation to add its own material: a comment, presentation, link or logo. It never affects which figures are shown, how they are calculated, the order of companies, median membership or editorial writing. All partner material is labelled and kept separate from data.

All partner material is labelled “Partner content” and displayed separately from the figures. A partnership never results in a better ranking, a more favourable figure or a different assessment. Company material is published only when it contains already public information and the editorial staff has approved it.

Bostadsbolagskollen retrieves public reports, press releases and articles using a robot that identifies itself as BostadsbolagskollenBot/1.0 and links to this page. It retrieves only pages over secure connections (https) from companies’ own websites, their press distributors and a small number of named news publishers.

Before retrieving a page, the robot reads the website’s robots.txt. Paths disallowed for our robot or all robots are not retrieved, and specified delays are respected. The robot retrieves few pages at a time, waits between requests and never downloads material behind a login or paywall. To restrict collection further, block BostadsbolagskollenBot in your robots.txt or use the contact details above.

Lex Regta AB is the data controller for follow subscriptions (email addresses submitted to follow a company) and visitor statistics. For questions, access requests and deletion, contact [email protected]. Processing is described in the personal data policy.

Visitor statistics are collected without cookies or tracking across days. A session marker is stored in browser local storage and deleted after 24 hours. Statistics are stored as daily event aggregates; no IP address or visitor ID is stored.

Individual figures may be reproduced with attribution to Bostadsbolagskollen and a link to the source page. Systematic copying or reuse of substantial parts of the database is not permitted: the compilation has catalogue protection under section 49 of the Swedish Copyright Act. Figures come from companies’ own reports; always check the original source before making decisions.

Bostadsbolagskollen reserves text and data mining rights. This reservation is sent in the TDM-Reservation: 1 response header and published in machine-readable form at /tdmrep.json. For extensive database use, contact [email protected].

Free: public pages and the public machine-readable layer (each company's data.json, feeds and calendars) with the latest reported period per company and metric. Every value carries its source. You may read, link and quote with attribution to Bostadsbolagskollen.

Requires a licence: history, point-in-time data, API, bulk files and redistribution. The institutional delivery contains only values checked by the editorial team against the source.
